I, like you am very fair skinned & I would never ever tan it. I do get a bit of redness b/c my skin is sensitive. Green cover-up will help. I perfer Physican's Formula mineral wear pressed cover. It's like marbled shades of green that will blend with any skin tone. You can get it at CVS. I don't use cream or liquid make-up on my face since I've discoved mineral make-ups. I use the Physican's Formula green cover after my moisturiser has set in a couple minutes & then I use a fluffy buki type brush & brush the cover on my face & it neutralizes the redness. Then I follow with my Jane Iredale pressed mineral make-up (Physican's Formula mineral wear is similar) & my skin looks absoutely flawless. I have rather large pores, but this make-up is marvelous. That's why I'd never use cream or liquid make-ups ever again. The pressed mineral make-up is also a cover/concealer as well. Good luck & cherish & take care of your fair skin. Protect it with sunscreen everyday & never ever tan.
