I hand wash it in cold water. is there a better way? any products that will stop the dye from running and fading?
shouldn't the dye have stopped running by now?

Fill your sink or a small tub with water. Put about 4-6 cups of rock salt in the water.

Soak your garment in the tub for about 24 hours.

Rinse the garment in your machine with cold water.

The salt should set the color. Continue to wash the garment in cold water, but it shouldn't bleed anymore.

Try adding about 1/4 cup salt to the cold water without soap and see if that helps.

add vinegar to the water and soap powder
