When I try to pee it hurts in my urethra so bad that it stops mid-stream and I can't fully empty my bladder. I had kidney stones a few weeks but they were treated and I assumed after they passed I would be fine. I haven't been able to pee without pain since, which I'm sure is normal. But for three days now I haven't been able to fully empty my bladder and I'm in agony! My doctor is out sick himself and he's a private practice, no other doctor to see. Trust me, I've been calling! So now what should I do? Should I worry? What the heck causes one to not be able to fully empty their bladder? Anyone have experience with this? Please Help!!!!

you could have a bladder or kidney infection, drink plenty of cranberry juice, if it doesn't clear up see your doctor.

You might be having a urinary tract infection. If it's that, you'd need antibiotics so you don't get a kidney infection. Cranberry juice helps I think but definitely call a doctor or go to the hospital.

If you cannot reach your doctor because he is out of town and you are in pain I would go to the hospital. It sounds as if you may have a Urinary Tract Infection. They can put you into agony they are very painful and it hurts like heck when you try to pee.

Please go to the hospital for treatment before it gets any worse.

Sounds like you have a urinary tract infection. Until you can see your doc drink lots of water and cranberry juice and there is this new over-the-counter med AZO that is supposed to help with UTI's. Good luck.

It could be a urinary tract infection. Go to a walk-in clinic near you. All you would need if this is your problem would be some antibiotics.
