I'm willing to attend timeshare tours to receive free tickets to shows. I would appreciate any help with finding them.

You can see quite a few "free" spectacles in Las Vegas
The Fountains of Bellagio
Fremont Street Experience
Masquerade Show in the Sky - Rio
Volcano/White Tigers - Mirage
Wildlife Habitat - Flamingo
Lion Habitat - MGM
Sunset Stampede - Sam's Town
and many others, this site will give you a list. http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com under "VEGAS INFO" you can search for the shows/activities you're interested in

I do know of one way to get free tickets and the show is a very-very good one...You can get free tickets to the Mac King comedy/magic show at Harrah's by signing up for the slot club card "Total Rewards" (IF) you're a first timer, this is only available to those who have never had a Total Rewards card..There is no requirement to play or any obligation, but, it is only for first timers..They will give you two tickets if one of you joins...

When you check in pick up the free magazines such as "What's on" "24/7" "Showbiz" sometimes the hotels will have an ad or voucher inside for free or discounted shows...

Half price tickets to American Superstars at the Stratosphere are pretty easy to come by, it's a great show for $20 each...Same with, Larry G Jones "the man of 1002 voices" at Fitzgerald's, great show for around $22....

You can get free tickets but not to any of the hot spot shows. You will not get the top entertainment.
You can check for deals on Ebay/show tickets or put Vegas in the search engine.
Look at lasvegas.com

Dont attend timeshare tours just for tickets. Many of my friends are timeshare salesmen and it is not worth the hell they are going to put you through. It will be extremely difficult to get out of there without buying a timeshare, these are sharks and they know there business. They will not even sign you up unless you are married and both have an income big enough. Then you can be there anywhere from 3 hours to all day. They bus you to the location to view all there condos, then set you down to work with an agent for about an hour. If this agent has not sold you one in that hour the BIG SHARK comes in. You will sign the papers just to get him off you back. Then you have a problem. They use stress, fear, and pure pressure to make a sale and make their quota for the day or week.
Please dont do this just to try to save $100-$200. And becareful many have a tiny small print clause that states you only get the tickets if you buy or attend another event or you come back in 6 mos for another tour. There is always a catch.

My first trip to Vegas was this past May. It was unreal.
Stayed at the Luxor - great pool and spa. Expensive.
Walking into and around the big casinos is the only free fun I found. You could spend one day just exploring in the Bellagio. Ceasars is insane and wonderful.
Celine set you back at least $250 bucks when I was there.
Hairspray started at $140 a ticket.
Unless you roll high dollar you are not getting free drinks, and if you were a high roller you wouldn't worried about free things.
If you do gamble sign up for all the player clubs.
I get mail every week with offers from hotels/casinos and I maybe spent $20 in slot machines!
Time share hustlers all over. Don't waste your time.

Vegas was built by savvy business men, not idiots. Some one has to pay for all the electricity bills. The bills get paid by gamblers and by those who pay full price. If you gamble, they give you some incentives to stay. If you don't gamble, you don't get anything. Look around for some of those half price deals that people were talking about. Enjoy free things like the fountains at bellagio and the light show in down town. But in Vegas - there is no such thing as free lunch. Any fool can gamble 10 grand away down the toilet. Sure they'll give someone like that free rooms, meals and shows. And then they'll walk around like they deserve a metal or something. Now you know better.

Don't bother looking for free tickets. I live in Las Vegas and haven't found them, at least for tourists. Occasionally deals for locals exist but they are few and far between.

When you get to town go to Tix 4 Tonight, they offer last minute 1/2 price tickets. There are 3 locations on the strip and 1 downtown. One is on the north end, one is in the middle (Fashion Show Mall), and one is on the south end (near MGM?). Starting at 11:30 am they post shows that will be available for that night.

Some hotels have free shows like Rio - they have a carnival style show during the daytime at regular intervals. TI has the sirens and pirates show at regulat intervals in evening. Circus Circus has regular circus acts.

Also I have been told by a friend if when you check in at your hotel sign up for the VIP club apparently you will receive a book with discount vouchers and 2 for 1 on show tickets - don't know how true this is as i have never tried it but will do when i go back next year.

Try Fairfield Resorts for a decent timeshare presentation, they may have tickets to a few shows; Also, sign up for some of the casino cards, if you gamble a little, you may be able to get free tickets or discounts.

No, please, DON'T let those timeshare people ruin your vacation!
Check at the link below to look over the cheapest and "free" entertainment. The shows that are around $20 actually will be almost free (the cost of buying a drink) with the coupons that are in the guides/magazines that come free in your room, at the check-in desks, and on racks at all local gas stations and convenience stores. The lounge acts (many different kinds of music, karaoke, comedy) also are free but you're expected to buy at least one drink. The lounges are at every hotel in town, more than 100 of them.

You will get alot of offers thay say free tickets but there are a thousand and one catches. Your best bet is to go to half price tickets on the strip next to the MGM in the big Coke bottle. They have half price deals to shows. Cirque De Solei shows are never discounted though.

he Fountains of Bellagio, amazing chorography and fountains that shoot over 200 feet in the air all in perfect time to music make this one of the most popular must sees in Las Vegas. There are shows every 30 minutes 3pm – 8pm and then every 15 minutes until midnight. With many variations this is something that can be seen again and again day or night wonderful spectacular treat for your eyes and your ears. The Volcano at Mirage this is probably my favourite free show I love it the music, the beat of the drums and the fire shooting out of the top and floating on water. The fuel is alleged to cost $100k per day to run this – worth every penny in my book. The Mirage Volcano erupts every 15 minutes from 6pm until Midnight. The Sexy Sirens of TI at Treasure Island, this is a pirate battle that takes place between the sexy sirens (scantily dressed female pirates) and the crew of the Jolly Rodger, the show takes place on two full sized galleons and I don’t think it gives too much away to say that one ship sinks completely. The walkway and bridge get very busy when the shows are on and you have to fight your way through teams of 16 year old boys who seem to have never seen a woman’s legs before. The show whilst not as good as the old Pirate battle is worth seeing and at least the British don’t get shown to be the bad guys this time ;-) Shows at 7pm, 8.30pm, 10pm and 11.30pm The Lake of dreams at Wynn it’s tricky to get a good view without eating the SW restaurant but if you get to see this its good light and sound show. The car museum at Imperial Palace this is the largest private collection of cars in the world (over 250) and worth more than $100 million. The cars are amazing it’s in a converted floor of the IP parking lot, whilst this is not strictly speaking free if you join the slot club you get a free admission ticket in the fun book. The Lions at MGM Grand, whilst you may have opinions of whether the lions should be at the MGM they seem to be happy in their glass play area and certainly get a lot of attention from their keepers. You can watch them playing and eating an play fighting. The lions are transported to and from the MGM Grand each day from ranch where they live very good lives. The Salt water aquarium behind the check in desk at Mirage, this is amazing 53 feet long and 8 feet high this huge tank houses many beautiful and colourful species of marine fish in a real coral reef this really is one not to miss. Bellagio Conservatory, the conservatory is themed and has different displays themed on the different seasons or holidays, the Christmas and Halloween displays are not to be missed for adults and children alike. The wonderful, if slightly dated magical statues in the Forum shops these are robotic statues that come alive with the aid of smoke and lights and act out Roman and mystical type tales; great for the kids.
