- Brake linings and Brake drum will get Heated up. This leads to Faster wear of Lining and Drum/Disc.
- Vehicle will not pick up speed as brake is offering resistance.
- It will surely increase fuel consumption as extra fuel is burnt to overcome resistance offered by brakes, in on condition.
-It can wearout tyres.
- Causes additional strain on driveline components like axle shaft, prob shaft, drive gears.
It is not right practice to drive with emergenct brakes applied.
As brakes gets heated up due to continuous driving,Brakes can not hold in hot condition. In case of emergency within 20 kms of your driving distance, emergency Brakes will not help you to stop the Vehicle.

It will wear down your brake pads and the friction could cause your disks to warp which will cause the car to wobble slightly when braking and will provide less effective braking in emergency situations.
Right now, the best thing you can do is to take it to a local trustworthy mechanic and have your pads looked at and possibly replaced.

you will ruin the rear brakes, you may have to get new brake pads, rotors or if they are brake shoes, depends on what kind of car you have and what type of brakes are on the vehicle. there is also the possibility of just having to change the pads on the vehicle. i have seen it happen when some one drives with the emergency brake on. sometimes the brakes will start smoking.

You need to have your driving test again.
Must be a woman driver. I have never heard of a male driver, driving with the hand brake on
Are you Blond???
Look on the instrument panel and if you see a RED light on means the emergency brake is ON or perhaps you did not know
If you drove 20 miles with the emergency brake "on" I dought it did any damage as you would have felt the performance low and released the brake
What you must do is to have a certified mechanic check the brakes. If the pads or linings ran hot for some time the glue holding the pads / linings can fail means no brakes good luck. Waltz
PS I suggest you obtain a copy of your vehicle manual and read it.

You compromise the pad that makes up the emergency brake and if you do that too often, it will weaken to where it won't work anymore.

you reallly should get them checked, the heat build up from even a couple miles can ruin rubber parts, damage drums and rotors to the point they could crack, and possibly render those brakes inoperable in an emergency

Well, in most cases, you just burnt the living out of them shoes, or pads in the rear. Get them checked out ASAP. Or you'll be grinding metal here sooner or later.
