The records should be in the state archives at the capital in Oklahoma City. The Historical Society has opened a new center at: 2401 Laird Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73103. William Wedge is director of the research division. Best results are by e-mailing his administrative assistant, Susan Wentroth, susan@okhistory.org. The center has 6,000 oral histories, 15,000 maps, 3/5 million Indian records, nine million newspaper pages. I'd try finding newspapers in the vicinity around Oct. 21, 1904, with stories about the incorporation of the town. The local paper might have them archived, or you might have to go to the center in Oklahoma City to do the research. I have discovered that the people at the center are very helpful and friendly, and quite responsive to questions like yours. You can call: 405-522-5225 for what will very likely be even better directions than these, from the Oklahoma Historical Society's web page. Good luck!
