You'll love it! We have a time share out there and are leaving next week after Thanksgiving. Check out this site http://www.24-7magazine.com/main.html for things to do. You will find this magazine (its tiny) in the back of any cab...they are free..grab one when you get there it is a great guide, especially for people who have never been before.

Of course you have to see all the free stuff:
Bellagio Fountains, Sirens of TI, Volcano at the Mirage, etc.
The Rio and Palms are off the strip but you can take a free shuttle from Caesers to the Rio and walk from the Rio to the Palms (only a couple blocks away)
Le Artistes in the Paris Hotel has the best Prime Rib I have ever tasted
Oh and prepare to walk, walk, and walk some more
I absolutely love Vegas. I try to go atleast twice a year. So have fun!!

I've only been there once, and Vegas wasn't my favorite place in the world, but I really liked this roller coaster that went forwards in loops then up to the top of a pinnacle and then backwards over the same course.
