My parents live in another state. So I won't see them over the holidays. I would like to send them a small gift for the holiday. Something other than flowers. I am looking for suggestions.

One of the suggestions I would make is to send them a nice table runner and napkin set or ... a gift certificate to their favorite Grocery Store -- so that they can use that to purchase the Thanksgiving meal ingredients this year!

We have stores here where you can send bouquets of candy or cookies. Its kind of fun. I am sure you could find sites on the internet for local places. Or, how about a gift certificate for the movies, if they like that kind of stuff. Something for them to relax after the holiday, especially if they have other family or friends over that day.

Hope this helps.

Send them a special card of thanks for being your parents! Then add three things you have been very thankful for in 2006; anything from the phone calls from them to something special you (and they) have enjoyed together.
Than send them your love. That's all they really want anyway.
Cheers
And Happy Thanksgiving!

Send them a fun centerpiece for their table - maybe of cranberries, small gourdes (sp?). I think there are some websites that you could even send a turkey to them!

I know you said no flowers, but the 1800flowers.com site has tons of ideas that aren't just flowers. Just make sure you look soon as most aren't next day delivery.
