I don't know why, but when I look at Katie's pictures prior to Tom she looks happy. Even when she was dating Tom she looks happy. But after the baby was born, and even thru those pictures from the window prior to her wedding and on her wedding date, I feel the most deep sadness when I look at her.
Those anyone sees it as well, or maybe is it my imagination? Please try not to be rude in your responses.

Maybe because she finally realizes the insanity she's gotten into? It seems to me Cruise had a bit of a midlife crisis and dragged her with him. Perhaps she also realizes how far she's come from being "Katie Holmes" to "Kate Cruise". It's alienated her family and probablly at least some of her friends.
Now she has a child with this man, who, quite frankly, has become really creepy with his huge "Look at me I'm Tom Cruise" grin.
Perhaps she felt it would be a good boost to her career, only to find he was absolutely serious with this huge wedding.
I honestly hope for the sake of her daughter and Cruises' other children that he comes to his senses (at least partially) and realize his couch jumping and her zombiefied smile has not helped them in the ways they might have hoped.

Probably because she knew the wedding is a farce and just a publicity stunt. According to the late news today there is no record of a marriage license!

I once heard that idiot talk about how she had a crush on Tom when he was in Top Gun. Maybe she's finding out that Maverick was the cool one she loved and not Tom.

*** she IS married to crazy man Tom...that would make me look a little less than excited. i agree w/ u tho'...she doesn't look that happy anymore. she may feel she's losing herself...she may have postpartum depression (imagine that tom!). it's really hard to say why she doesn't look that happy...it's really all speculation.
