In my opinion, either she was uncomfortable with the situation (location, people that were there, etc.) or perhaps you needed a breath mint at the time and she didn't want to kiss you. I'm not saying that to be mean. I just know these things b/c sometimes when my husband wants to kiss me he has recently smoked or ate something stinky and I just don't want to kiss him at that point and time. Doesn't mean I don't love him.

Some people are very shy when it comes to PDA (public displays of affection). Regardless if you aunt was paying attention or not, it didnt matter. Dont take it personally at all. If she is loving in private and polite to you in public then she is indeed just very shy. Dont be hurt or mad because that will just push her away.

Don't worry about it. I know some girls that are like that. She still loves you. I'm kinda the same way with kissing girls in public. I have some friends that are girls..not girlfriends lol and I give them a quick kiss on the cheek as a friendly kiss when I see them but I can't do it in public...I don't know why I gotta get over it lol :)

Don't be too upset. Maybe she is a bit shy in public. Maybe just in front of family. It could be that she is giving your aunt and her house respect.

totally agree with Steph L and DA LL Male - I know guys tend to feel hurt when this happens but it's definitely not the lady's intention to hurt, if this ever happens to you. PDA is definitely not for a lot of ladies.

Don't be hurt, maybe she's not a fan of PDA's. I'm the same way with my husband, and we've been together for 5 years.
