It's a more complex scenario than that. My friend started some years ago, shortly thereafter, I joined. Well he continued and I just let it go, due to family issues, distractions. He's making big bucks now and I'm happy for him. My fault that I quit, nobody elses. I'm re-joining next week. BTW. This friend is now my boss. Yep, he bought the company that I work for, from home. Feel free to email me for details and any other questions. Make sure you leave the name of your state and he will be happy to give you a good referral to the better leadership in your area.

Hi there! You can make money without signing up anyone! You make profit by selling products either direct to customers, in which case you get retail markup, or registering and selling products at wholesale to other Independent Business Owners. The first is more direct selling, and what Robert Kiyosaki calls an "active income" - ie you stop working, then you stop making money. In the second case if you build a large enough network you can stop working and keep earning money - a "passive income". The second tends to take some time and work.
When you start making money depends both on how much volume you move at retail and wholesale, but also what you're expenses are. They'll tend to be higher if you want a long term business, as there is stuff to learn. One thing to learn is the statistics. Most people you introduce to the products or business opportunity will not be that interested. Then, people being people, most people who join, despite their best intentions, never actually do anything. However, the stats show if you register 20 people plus have maybe 10+ direct customers, then you'll have 3 or 4 other people who will get out and work for themselves, and help generate you an income in the $2-$3000/mth range and higher. It takes time and work, but it works if you do!
