I asked that in class, And everyone got opinionated. I grew up without knowing God, but now I believe in Him. I'm not religious though, I just except Him and some people told me that if I believe in God, then I shouldnt believe in dinosaurs or cavemen. Im confused. What do you think?

Yes and no. I cant think of any true "religion" that openly accepts evolution into their belief system, but that doesnt men their isn't one.I personally am a Christian (Protestant) and do believe that evolution could be real. Honestly, there could have been life back then, but it still begs the question, "Who created those lifeforms" I can't say that I believe in evolution whole-heartedly, but I will admit that it is definitely possible if not likely. Also, your question does raise a good point. I like the way you think

I believed that God/that great force used certain aspects of evolution to explain creationism. I think they go hand in hand. I am not religious, but I respect all religions.

I believe creation and evolution can coexist. Maybe evolution isn't true or maybe creation either, but they both try to explain that one question of how did we get here as we are now. Or maybe evolution and creation is one of the same thing? Until there is some kind of breakthrough in the scientific community we'll probably never know for sure.

before i say anything i would like to point out that evolution is merely a theory and has not been entirely proven so it is also faith-based to believe evolution is true. because next week someone could discover something that completley destroys the idea. so here we go.
I am a christian that believes God created the entire universe in 6 literal days(not long periods of evolution). then he made every living thing, includiong dinosaurs. and after that made man in his own image, superior to the animals. about 2,000 years later God flooded the entire earth which kill ed most of the dinosaurs but Noah brought dinosaurs on the ark(babies not full grown, noah knew they would eat less). after the flood most of the dinosaurs were hunteed down for food or safety. but there may be some still alive(Nessie, strange beasts in the Congo reported by natives and missionaries). if you want to know more go to this website:

It's OK to believe in God. But there's a big difference between believing in God and believing that everything in the Bible is literally true. The Bible was written by man, not God, and it contains a lot of mistakes and errors. Just read it and find out for yourself.

Creationists have created a whole new version of science that includes dinosaurs living alongside humans, so you are covered if you believe in all that. Other Christians believe God created earth and primitive organisms and then made them evolve. It's hard to reconcile because science is fact based and religion is faith based.

I don't really believe in evolution, I don't believe that my ancestors used to be monkey's. I believe that there were cavemen and dinosaurs though, and I'm religious.

Religion should never teach you to disregard reality. There are those who would believe the Bible when reality contradicts it. You do not have to be one of them. It is one thing to question assumptions and investigate their validity. It is another to blindly follow what someone else says the Bible says. Keep thinking and follow your heart.

There is no doubt that evolution does exist.
It's been proven to be FACT!
All plants and animals on earth have "evolved" to some degree.
Some animals havn't changed much..some got bigger...some got smaller..some learned to walk on 2 feet. When climates change..or environments change animals and plants have to adapt in order to survive. Even man has evolved..this is NO mystery..Everyday scientist find bones and remnants of another time. And in order for us to survive we too must adapt..and evolve!
