Do you think it's sad for a pet hamster to die? I have had 5 hams 4 died. I think it's sad. Now all I have is Peanut, my hamster. What's your hamsters name if you have 1?

I had one that my sister named "Goo-Goo Gaa-Gaa" when I was younger. I think it's very sad to lose a pet.

It's really sad losing a hamster. My 1st hamster was actually found. One night about 7 years ago I left the door open and Survivor was on tv. All of the sudden one brown rodent was crawling about on the floor. I was kinda freaked out and wanted to find a way to get rid of it till i noticed it had no tail (not visible at least). That's how i got my 1st hamster, Jumbuck. He was about more than a year old when he came and he died after almost 3 years under my care. He lived to a ripe age alright and he's the pet i remember the most.

Hi I have 2 robo hamsters one is Pumpkin and the other Turnip,we had three but Squash died. I have also a Teddy Bear hamster and His name is Prince Po and he is getting his winter hair in now. We took him to the vet when we first got him because he got wet tail and almost died. He has been great ever since. I also have a Gerbil named Peppy Lepew and he is my baby. So loveable. It is sad when you lose any pet and it is a shame that they only live for about three years if you are lucky. We have had many ever since I was young.

Yes; it is sad that your little one died. Maybe if they were inbred may be the problem though.They may have Had genetic disease.No I just have a grand daughter Carlee Beth 13,who just bought a black bear ham.Her friend loved it so much that she got one also.Well in just a short time they now have 8 babies.She just told me of how she did have nine babes & all that was left when she found it was the head.Sorry to tell you that,but maybe it was the runt and she did not have enough milk to feed it.The little ones now have ther eyes open & so very cute. They paid $25.for one.Sure wish you could take one of these.The blk bears stand up on their hind feet and look like little bears.I hope peanut has a long life for you. take care kell65

I had a hamster names Quiniver, like the queen. My L.A. teacher gave her to me and i thought it was wrong to rename her so i kept the name. She died on friday the 13 and i was so sad. She was going to be two in one month on sunday the 15 though i got a new hamster named Julie. i love her and miss Quiniver. Quiniver is in my email address though i spelt it wrong and splet it Guiniver. MY BAD! lol

i've never had a hamster, but i did had a pet rat, named White Plague (my daughter named the rat), who died after having her for 2 years. it was sad for me, because i got really close to her, which i never thought i would do.

I had a hamster once, but it was really mean to me. I expected to get really attatched to it, but unfortunatly i never held it because it growled and would bite me. It was still sad when she died.
