is there going to be an updated version of the PSP soon...?

hey, ummm, should i get a PSP now, or is it too late so that they are going to make a new updated verson of it? should i wait? or will it be awhile untill a new one comes out? (by an updated version i mean: like take the gameboy advance SP...an upgraded version would be the nintendo DS...more technology...just in case you did understand!!!) thank you!

Rumore has it a new version with built in flash memory is coming out sometime before Q3 2007.
