Partial intestate laws of nsw?

In NSW, my elderly aunt died, she had no spouse, children or parents, and the estate in her will is divided between her 2 sisters, one of whom predeceased her, and her nieces and nephews, but part of the will is intestate. Who receives the intestate portion?

You should be able to look this up in the NSW probate code or by contacting the probate court.

I believe it would be her surviving sister.
