its a clogged sweat gland
Its starting to hurt because of pressure building up from inside the gland
apply warm wet compresses to the site for a few hours- do it again tomorrow when you have the time
Do NOT wear antiperspirant until the bump has disappeared

Had the same problem & went to the doctor. It was an abcess & was resting on a nerve. Very painful! Had it drained & packed. It had to be packed daily for months & then the wall of the abcess had to be surgically removed. Not painful. Just annoying! No deodorant for an entire summer! Had to use antibacterial cream instead!
Get it checked out, if it's a problem. Only a doctor can tell you what it is.

Could be an ingrown hair. If it is, it will go away on it's own in a week or so if you leave it alone and don't pick at it.
If it doesn't go away or if the skin around it gets real red and very sore, you should check with your doctor.

probably an ingrown hair.
Keep it clean and put pimple cream on it to help dry it out.
