You are absolutely correct. Drunk driving, global warming, Russian roulette, all safe as a babe in its mothers arms.
The evidence that drunk driving is far less compelling than the evidence for global warming.

If you are going to be selfish and think that there's nothing wrong with drunk-driving, then consider this. If you get pulled over and the officer knows you've been drinking, you'll spend the night in jail, get your licesnse taken away, and then face a lot in traffic fees.
Plus, dude if you hit someone, I can't even imagine the pain you would cause their family or the guilt you would suffer after you sobered up.

The effect of drunk driving was proven with deadly accuracy in Denver last week. A drunk driver ran a red light and killed the mother and two babies in one family. The father survived. Thousands appeared at their funeral and the drunk driver is facing multiple charges of vehicular homicide, DUI resulting in death, and assault. Need more proof?

it depends how drunk you are. it does slow your reflexes. that has been proven. and your more likely to get in a wreck. you should stay at home when you drink or get a designated driver. the best thing though is smoke a little weed to calm your nerves. but dont drive 25mph all the way home.

What are you talking about? Yes it has been proven, by accident statistics, that drunk driving in dangerous. Dead bodies don't lie.
