I know that the DVD UMDs are region coded but Im not sure about games. I contacted Sony and they told me that its not their choice if the games are region free, and the developers of the games choose. Are they just saying that. I have a PSP from the U.S but now live in Australia and want to know if the games will work on my PSP

The games should work. But UMD Movies may not.

Of course PSP games are region free they just come in different languages in each different country around the world that sells them so PSP games are region free.
