not! drummers add a bit of energy to the stage... the lack of one gives the performance a fake... or boring feel... I recommend a real drummer

While I like watching drummers play, (I am one) you really don't need one. Also it really depends on the kind of music you play and the drum sound you are going for. If you want an electronic drum sound and you'd have the drummer playing electric drums then use a drum machine. If your playing something like jazz where dynamics and feel are important you'll probably need a drummer (and a good one at that). Just make sure you know how to program your drums well and dont worry about it. I have seen many people play a guitar and the rest of the music is programed into their computer on stage. Good luck.

it depends on who your playin in front of
some people would think its cool while others would hate it and wish for the real drum quality
