Have you replaced the filter/s? Have you had it cleaned and serviced lately? Has the chimney been cleaned lately?

Blocked return air grills could be your problem. Or dirty squirrel-cage vanes in your main blower assembly. Sooting or an incorrect air-mixture could be at fault as well.
It would probably be worth calling a heating company and have them come out and look things over. Get a price for the furnace check in advance. Any work, of course, would be additional. Good luck.

Check the filters, maybe you could use a humidifier if the weather is drier this year. My humidifier helps a lot in this dry winter were having. I keep it about 40% and the air seems warmer, try it.

Its age; it won't work as well as a new one.
Are the filters changed in a timely manner?
Dust in vents; or cold air return.
