Never let anyone on the internet evaluate your antiques. You don't know if they will steal/keep it, or, if they even know how to evaluate what you have. You can post pictures but NEVER mail what you want evaluated to anyone.

Look in the Yellow Pages of your telephone directory under Auction Houses, look at their website, and see what the procedure is for evaluating the price of what you have. Hopefully they will ask you to take it to them - have someone go with you - don't go alone, in case the piece is valuable, don't take chances.

You can take pictures and post them on E-bay, again, NEVER send it to anyone, no matter what they tell you. They can tell you it's only worth One Thousand Dollars, and in reality, it may be worth One Million Dollars. Be careful.

Look at "www.ebay.co.uk" and see if anything similar is being offered for sale.
