A lady some day. Shrillary, no way.

In the old days, lots of folks felt that a woman wouldn't be tough enough to serve as president -- or in any other major leadership role. And then Margaret Thatcher got elected prime minister of England, and proceeded to show that women are plenty smart and plenty tough enough.

If Lady Thatcher taught us nothing else, she showed that that women are more than ready for prime time. They are charming. They are capable. And when nip comes to tuck, they're just as capable of kicking serious butt as men in the same position. (Just ask the Argentines, who ended up on Thatcher's bad side during the Faulklands' War.)

i think it would be good for a lady to be in the white house, just for the simple fact that us women tend to have more compassion and we tend to think situations and problems more then once unlike guys they want to feel manly and do the manly "thing" which is fight.... or just do something against the other person who they think is wrong.....it would be good that way women are seen more and we could have more say in the government.

a woman can't screw it up any worse!!!!
and besides we have had many women in the white house
as we all know women ARE the power behind the thrones
now it's coming to the forefront
take for example-nancy reagan everyone knows she was running things for a long time in ronalds declining health status.
hillary clinton gave up a brilliant law career to put her husband in the governors seat and a presidency
women are prone to think things through whereas men are more
aggressive and impulsive
i believe it would be an improvement
don't you

I'd love to see Condoleeza Rice in the White House.

Huh? There're already bunches of ladies in the white house... not to mention Laura Bush... You mean for president? I'd vote for Condoleeza Rice if she ran.

Its unlikely to happen anytime soon. The so called men in this country would never allow that to happen. It would be threat to their manhood. Personally I don't see why not. A woman sure the hell can't do any worse than Bush.

No. Only because the rest of the world doesn't recognize a female as a leader.

We may get one. Hilary or Condi would be great. Condi says she's not running. Maybe Hilary will.
