When I got married at 19 and I found out that I was pregnant. I did get married first then 3 months later I found out that I was pregnant. I miscarried but that made me grow up real fast.

i've always been an adult in a child's body as i was growing up. i was one of those who can talk a mile a minute before i even reached 1 year old, and i wasn't just blabbering. i was class president year after year. i guess the better question for me was when i finally realized that there's a child within my now adult body--
it hit me when hubby dumped me because he never stopped competing with me. hurt to the core, i journeyed within and found the inner child who only wishes to be happy. i refused to grow any older since then, tried stopping rationalization, and just bloomed day by day.

Actually, to be honest, my day of reckoning came when I first had my own house and had three roommates. I came home from work one night to a party going on! I cleaned house and everyone thought I was a 'party pooper' but I realized that the house they were partying in was my responsibility. Soon after that I was married, working and going to school full time.

I grew up realizing I was never a child. I was born an adult.

Single mother at 19. Nothing makes you realize your grown up than that sweet little angel waking you up at 2am for a bottle. :)

depends on your definition of an adult. if its age, a long time ago. if its mind set, i havent gotten there yet and hope i never do. im 55 yrs old and still think adults suck.

I am? I made a promise to myself that I would never grow up...well at least not completely! LOL When I got my first apartment..I have a small house now that I share with my animals...
