yeah, you put liquid foundation on first. and then you put the powder over it, but not too thick. it just keeps your face from looking oily and shiny.

I always moisturize before I do anything with my makeup. I tend not to use powder because it does give the face a bit of a dry look. It may look dry because you are using too much or too light of a color. Try purchasing a different brand or applying less and see how that works. Or definately invest in a brush (wide and thick) to apply loose powder, not the one's in the compact - those always make faces look dry. Best of and I hope this helps!

I put cream or moisturizer first and then use a powder over that. Use a light powder and a good brush to put it on with. Mary Kay has an awesome bronzer that you can put on with a rounded brush.

Not everyone is suitable to use face powder. Maybe you can try other product of face powder.

you're probably using too much,that tends to make your face appear dry and feel heavy.What i use is only a little translucent powder with a powder brush by Cover girl....a little goes a long way

The reason why is because it doesnt have any moisturizers. Try a nice liquid foundation dont use blush. It can really mess up your face.

try bare esscentuals, once you try it your hooked, i couldn't bare the thought of the chemicals in other make ups on my skin. its a little pricey but a little goes a long way and its worth it. good luck :)
