I went with some freinds to a place semi out of town to look for it. We thought it would be at 11:45... we waited around until about 12:05 or 12:10 before we gave up and went home. But now i see that someone has said it was between 11:45 and 2am.... hmm good thing we didn't wait around until we actually saw it.

Yes, the Leonids are tonight, and will be visible in Eastern Canada. If you decide to go out and watch, look to the eatern horizon. Also something fun to try, you can locate the constellation Leo by following the path of the meteors backward....they all will lead back to the constellation.

There is supposed to be a meteor shower tonight, but I think the east will only get the end of it.

Yes - the meteor shower is supposed to be best seen on the Eastern Coast of North America, and parts of Africa. I think they're the Leonids? 11:45PM ET is the peak.
