My friend had this # a long time ago and she had to change it.. i think alot of people had to chage their #'s...

Loads of people did. In some areas, that number is dead, in other locations, it is proudly used.

I believe there actually is a Jenny at one of them

Dialing +1-areacode-867-5309 from a Vonage line plays a clip of the song before connecting.

We don't use that number anymore here. 867 is a local number and was once a local JR high. During the time that the song came out. Now if you use the area code 704 and Dial the number you get nothing. Nobody wants the number. People still call it.

Just dailed it. I get a ding.....

We actually called that number with all the different possible area codes and asked for Jenny. When the song came out, I'm sure we had a lot of company.

I have a t-shirt that says that...my little brother tried to call it and it was a non working number here in my area code....and a girl at the gas station thought I was advertising my number, got a lil attitude with me lol

sometimes I wake up in the night with the urge to call that number...then I'm like...but with which area code? Then I get so confused I forget...so yeah.

I tried about 20 years ago. It was a disconnected number. I am sure I was not the first stupid kid to try.

It's happened thousands of times. I use to live in a town in south Alabama, and that's our phone prefix, and there is someone who has that number. They took it with a grain of salt........:)
