Wait. I hear that the new games for the PS3 are has been games you can already play on older gaming systems. You probably want to buy the PS3 next fall when they announce the PS4 (because you know they will).

Why would you? The only reason that they're selling for hundreds of dollars ABOVE value is the fact that demand is higher than supply. When supply beings to trickle in, and believe me, Sony isn't wasting any time, your $1200.00 investment will be worth $699 - which is what they sell for.
I wouldn't do it unless you had a buyer who would buy it TODAY.
