Is it possible to like someone but not want to be with them? Me and this guy have been friends for a few years and Ive always had this lil crush on him but I never knew why( I neva thought he was my type). I hadnt seen him in about a year till recently and he told me that he was feeling me too. We would talk on the phone frequently then one day it just stopped. He would say how much he missed me and that he wish I was with him. Saying things that made me think he wants to be with me. Too make a long story short I found out he has a girlfriend in which he told me they broke up. And I find myself being upset because he lied filling my head with bs. I refuse to be the chick on the side he runs to when he has relationship issues. But the problem is that I know I dont want to have a relationship with him so why do I feel this way??? Why cant I just look pass this and continue being friends with him like b4? Help me clear my head!!

Let it go. He had the nerve to try and play you.That is why it is bothering you.It offends you that he thought you were that stupid, gullable, or easy! Move on......

You valued his friendship a lot and he betrayed you. You have a reason to be upset . Back off and get some fresh air. This could take some time to get over.

sounds like you feel he has used you and that can drive a person crazy. the only way you can get back to being friends is to tell him how you feel.
