There will be peace in the middle east when Jesus comes back to Earth.
Until then, I see no reasonable chance for any type of long-term peace.

Peace will never be possible. Wars have raged on for centuries,, too many lives have been lost..generations of families have been affected by bloodshed. There will always be sympathy for one side or the other and revenge is usually the answer.

No, There has never been peace over there. They don't beleive in it. The Quran says in Sara to kill the infidels and non believers. All it talks about is our Doom etc.. Read the link

there is always hope but the dynamics are incredibly complex(religious, social, and economic) and long-standing...no easy answers but the Arab world must recognize Israel's right to exit if we are going to make any progress...
