I don't need presents, my cat likes them not me. Kids like them for all the wrong reasons but it's all crazy and commercialized. Can't say it wasn't as bad when I was a kid, so what can you do?
It's all about presents, we were raised this way and now know how wrong it is. But we did the same things with our kids. Pass me a drink.

I'm a person who loves to give presents, not only at Christmas, but any time, for no reason other than I love you. All of my immediate family is deceased, and I'm not married or attached at the moment. It may not sound proper, but I miss delighting my family with gifts given out of love. It's sad, when a person has no one to give to.

It's not just about the presents for you.
I believe Christmas is about sharing and giving and being happy to have friends and family.

I really dont bother about getting presents but i love buying for others. I have a 6 month old and 7 year old niece and a 3 year old nephew and i love buying them things.

No, it is first and foremost about the birth of Jesus.
Then it is about a time for family to be together. Enjoying the company is optional.
It is never about presents.

It was when I was a kid. I think it is for all kids. It would explain the long wish lists and the belief in Santa Clause.
Even though I'm not religious anymore, I still think it's great to see people be nice and giving to each other.

My familty doesn't give presents any more. We just all get together and enjoy each others company. Have a nice dinner, and talk or play games, or whatever.

its my b-day its time for spending w/ friends my family lives 3000 miles away(waa) i enjoy sitting by the tree hot cocoa the cartoons i tell people to spend time w/ me i dont need anymore junk (gifts) i just love the feeling the carols the lights
making gingerbread houses and sweets for the coworkers
