Yes, but we all are chimeras anyway, from cells we get from our mothers during our time as fetuses.

Are people who get transplants chimeras? I do not think some one cured of some sickness will care much.

Only if the stem cells come from a different species, in which case that immune system would probably reject the transplated cells anyway.
