I'm a virgin and the entrance where a guy would go for sex is too small! It's partly covered so there are like 2 small holes instead of one normal one! There's no way a guy could fit! Do i need an operation?

Most likely what you're seeing is the hymen, or the thin piece of skin that partially covers the vaginal opening. Some women have two holes in their hymen-called a 'Septate hymen' (picture in link below).

The septum (the piece of tissue between the two openings) may break on its own the first time you have intercourse-this may hurt and bleed a bit. Sometimes, if the septum is too thick, it does need to be cut-this is a minor procedure that can usually be done with local anaesthetic.

Talk to your doctor next time you go in for a check up; the doctor should be able to tell you if the septum needs to be removed or if it's thin enough that intercourse will be able to remove it.

You may be able to gently stretch it by putting your finger just inside one of the openings and gently moving your finger in different directions. That may help stretch and thin out the septum-especially if it's not a thick one. If you use tampons, this will also gently stretch the septum.

This sounds gross, I know, but the guy doesn't exactly go through the hole - he tears the whole thing away. So it doesn't matter if there is one hole or two, once you have sex, the entire hymen is gone. It is possible to have it surgically removed but most women don't. It actually does not hurt much, although it usually bleeds a little.

One that is your hymen and sometimes early in life you can open another hole other than the naturally occuring one..but the other person is correct when the hymen is broken the whole thing is gone... She your GYN and let her(or him) tell you for sure... Loosing your virginity can be painful or not and that is a lot of different factors.. but if you are worried then you should see you GYN and trust me that you are normal...

What is partly covering the opening is called a "hymen", and its perfectly normal. All women have them. Your first time having sex will be painful, but the hymen is meant to break and it will. You may have a bit of blood and some tenderness, but that is perfectly fine. We all go through it, girl. All part of being female.

Fortunately for you sex is about ten things not just one hole. I have actually seen this. the individual was not told it was a problem. The other things that make up sex will cause the hole to be adjusted sooner or later.
