A friend of mine said that I've seen more bad things before I was 10 than most adults have in their life time. No, I was not sheltered.

Now that I do not get...I had no idea that being sheltered had a sexual orientation? LOL
Yeah I had some friends whom were very kind to me in a very difficult time in my life...they helped me to become the person I am today and for that I will always be grateful.

No, we were raised by a short Irish man who believed in teaching his children the paths to a successful life. He taught us manners, a good work ethics and love for God and country.
Sheltered would not be the word, honest and upfront is more like it. I miss that guy, he was my father.

I used to be by my parents. They wanted me not to know that my grandma picked favorites (I wasn't one of them) and didn't want me to worry about their problems with my sister or money. I figured it out anyway, much sooner than they realized.
