I heard that you can see the babys foot late in pregnancy when it kicks, if of course the weight you gained was all because of the baby and not extra fat. is this true?

Yep you sure can....it doesnt look like a foot though, and it could be an elbow or hand, or knee also. Its pretty cool to see it moving across your big huge belly!

You can't actually see the foot. When I was pregnant, I couldn't tell whether it was a foot or an arm. But I will tell you this, in a late pregnancy and especially if you are having a big baby like i did, it's going to be VERY uncomfortable since the baby does not have much room to move around. If the baby is turned head down, then more than likely the feet are near the chest area. Goog Luck with your pregnancy.

When my oldest son was born, I had been so sick that I left the hospital weighing less than before I was pregnant. My son was a very active baby and I never saw his foot. I even had a hard time being able to tell his head from his butt. lol. But I dont know, I guess it could happen.

I never did, and neither have any of my friends. There is a picture circulating on the internet with a pregnant woman and a foot showing on her stomach. My doc said this isn't real. There are layers of muscles and fat and it would be near impossible to see all the definition. You can however see bumps coming out a lot, and you can sometimes tell what body part it is.

I assume you're refering to a picture of a woman's belly showing a baby foot.

It is a hoax and photoshopped...There is no way that you could see that unless there was almost no amniotic fluid and the baby would have to be sitting at such a horrible angle.
That being said, there are times where I can feel long limbs depending on how he's sitting in my belly. (currently 35 wks pregnant)

I have seen a picture on the internet of a pregnant belly and you can see a foot by her belly button very clearly, however it can be a fixed picture, I have NEVER known if a pregnant woman experiencing that thought.

I was born without some of the layers of skin covering my belly so the area is very thinly covered my daughter when I was preg use to press her face against my belly and you could make out her face (faintly) I saw her hands press and feet as well
My mum also caught my brothers foot in her hand and he tried to struggle away when she was pregnant.

well, it's not like a foot outline or anything like that but some times you can see them pushing out on your tummy.
