RAM. With only 128 meg of ram, you will be unable to play the majority of newer games even if you replaced the graphic card. You will still not be able to play with your older graphic card, but you will be able to play a lot more than if you replaced the graphic card.
The additional RAM will also improve performance in Windows and all the other programs on your PC. The newer graphic card would not.

Go with more RAM. A graphics card is a notable improvement if you do things with high color or higher resolution, or if you play a lot of games. However, RAM will give you a boost in everything else, and will also improve your machine's paging performance. Not only that, but the effects of a new video card may be negotiable anyways due to the nature of the software you are trying to run. Running Doom 3 on a Pentium 3 500 is not a wise choice of software anyways, and no video card will improve that.

More ram for sure. 64 is acceptable it might do the job. The ram is lacking buy alot you need at least 512mb to do the job descently (1 gig if you could afford it.) You will not be able to do to much gaming with 64mb AGP card. PCI Expressx16 is currently the best, i think you should save up your money and build a custom system.

as far as kind i imagine that is totally somewhat personal determination and best deal. I have used all of them and that all of them have positives and negatives. keep in mind that in production of such a good number of laptops there'll continually be some lemons ( in different words i might want to propose getting a warranty with it). i in my opinion have found that I even are turning out to be tremendous deals from HP (as far as quantity of memory, problematical force area, and undemanding potential of the laptop). What i might want to propose is going to a Circuit city or best purchase kind save and honestly fiddling with the computer...attempt typing, attempt the mouse (contact pad), etc. and make confident you want how the laptop works. Then, look on the specs and choose the finest deal. solid success...

That one is easy. MEMORY for sure. Your video card is adequate, but your memory is too low and in this day and time 512mb is almost a minimum, purchase at least a 256mb simm.
