Why we put cloths in water before putting them into washing powder's water for washing?

it softens the fabric and pretty much pre- washes i know this stuff believe me...

i can't really understand your question, but hopefully you can understand my answer. the reason for putting your washing powder in the water first before your clothes, is so that powder doesn't clump up on your clothes, and cause discoloration. that's what my family has always told me.

Washing powder is soluble in water and create bubble and slippery.
