My grandfather is taking a second wife who is younger than him and he already has most of what you would get a young couple for their wedding since he has been married so long. Their marriage won't be legal since my grandfather is already married to my grandma but it will be a spiritual and physical marriage instead. He says he wants to have atleast 3 more children. That would be so neat!! I will get to help raise my aunts and uncles..teehee :) Anyways, because of their large age difference I am looking for something they both will use and enjoy. My husband says he wants me to get them a book called Loving Domestic Discipline found at this website http://www.lovingdd.blogspot.com. This girl is my best friend from church and I know sometimes she will need firm hand and some discipline by grandpa but I was hoping to get them something a little more sweet than that. My husband says I can get them something else if I want. What should I get them?

How about a beautiful scrapbook so they can scrapbook their beautiful new life together. How nice for your grandfather to have found a new love at this stage in his life. Congrats to them both.

From your other questions you have posted, sounds like your family likes them very young. I really don't think you are telling the truth with most of what you say. Their is something very wrong with your Grandfather being with another woman, when your Grandmother is still living. I got news for nasty old Grandpa, his marriage will not be Spiritual in God's eyes!
Get some help from a professional who can get you to see right from wrong, you really need it!!!

You should get them the book your husband told you to get. Also although you do have some short comings as a wife, attributed to your young age, you can probably give the new wife some helping hints and advice for keeping her husband happy. That would be a good gift for your grandfather too, helping her to learn to be a good submissive wife.

Sounds like grandpa has just about anything a man could want. A nice card and some cash would be my answer. BTW what church do you go to? Do you have anymore friends? Ever tried cow tipping?

Very interesting....Very Very interesting..
Well, good luck to them both...And to you..
You are accepting & dealing with this very matter of factly..
Why are you so accepting of what seems to be a very odd situation?
What does your grandmother think of this ?
What church do you & your husband & family belong to ?
Do you participate in this Loving Domestic Discipline ?

Your whole family needs counseling so maybe you can make an appointment for the whole family for the wedding gift. How dare your family be so selfish as to bring 3 more children into this world under such disgusting circumstances. Get help not a wedding present
