you may have "pink eye" or what is known a conjunctivitis. You need to see an MD and get it looked at.
Usually its a cream (erythromycin) or drops. Either way, it's very contagious. Wash your hands very thoroughly after being near your eye.

Sounds like you have a sty-some dirt lodge and caused a small infection and usually within a week it goes away but since you wear contacts I'd go get it checked by a Optomologist-Eye Doctor MD-not the one fits glases but Medical Eye Doctor to make sure isn't a infection caused by the contacts for if it is and is not treated will get much worse and take a long time to clear uo and may even be then necessary you not wear contacts until eye is healthy again

Leave your contacts out until you can visit your eye doctor. If the white spot is on your cornea, it could be a corneal ulcer. Your eye doctor can give you drops that will clear it up quickly. I had to change contact brands when this happened to me.

You may have an eye infection, you should remove the contact immediately & see your eye care professional before it turns into something much more serious, such as a corneal ulcer.
