What is in the history of these 2 gangs that has lead to them warring with each other for years?

Follow the link of violence back to Cain killing his brother, Abel. There is no real rational for gang violence, except that of wanting something the other group/guy has..... controlling the "turf" for example to use an old word for it. Racism in gang warfare as well as anywhere else, is an attempt to keep the other person down in order to have a higher position.
There's no mystery in any form of violence. It always comes down to the same old thing: PRIDE.... trying to prove you are better than they other guy and more deserving of position, power, and material things.

it all started when the crips decidd to make a gang and claim a town as their own. When a few of the more hardcore crips decided they were gonna start killin people for fun and bring the crip gang a bad rep. They got kicked out. They started their own gang and called themselves the bloods and they have been fighting ever since the bloods wanted revenge.

Apparently, Crip's and Blood's are now joining together, to fight against the bigger, meaner, mexican gangs like Mara Salvatrucha. Yay diversity!

Crips and Bloods reached a truce a few years ago.... they don't "go to war" anymore. I'm sure their are some who still fight and crap on their own accord but it's not a culteral phenominon like it used to be.

The lower downs want to make a name for themselves, whereas the leaders hate when it occurs, because it is bad for business.
