I just read "Fences" by August Wilson for a course and absolutely loved it! The man tells a good story, and a funny one at that.

The play of The Diary of Anne Frank is excellent.

Up the Down Staircase was a good play too.

I want to read Paradise Lost by Milton one of these days.

you then may like stories by , o Henry, aka. William Sydney porter. funny,and always a twist.i am sure they have been reprinted
