I cannot get over the stupidity of those of you who answer thinking that the question is comparing gays to animals. The writer is merely pointing out that natures considers homosexuality as normal. Animals having that instinct canot be blamed on intellectual choice or mental illness the way antigayists try to portray. So please if you want to answer the question, try understanding it first.

That said, most antigayists are homophobic, which really means they are fearful and fear means "what can happen to me? How can thishurt me? Subconsciously the fear is they themselves may be gay if they allowed themselves to accept it in others. Why fear that? because then they believe they may be ostracized by their friends, familiy and neighbors and perhaps by their GOD. Animals, which include humans, by the way....mammal.......there is no intellect. Man is the only mammal withy extensive intellect and reasoning. If we take that away, tere would be no fear and no ostracism. There would merely be survival. It is clear that despite homosexual behavior in animals, that is not a concommitant of their extinction ior being endangered , the continue to survive. In this analysis antigayism is fear based and there is no good reason for it to be wrong.

First let me state I am not anti gay I really could care less what sexual preference one has. But when you ask is it wrong you are interjecting something else. The basic concepts of right and wrong, good and evil etc are grounded in moral judgments. when you go there you are making a mistake. The principle of morals is rooted in spirituality and faith.. To illustrate why do most societies consider theft "wrong" certainly in nature this is not the case to use your example. Simply put a given society's idea of what is morally acceptable is dictated by the behavioral restrictions imposed by a spiritual belief structure or religion. Certainly if you are member of catholicism then the church has a legitimate right to say that a given action or behavior is wrong in keeping with their beliefs and that is a perfectly valid point of view.Now if you are not a catholic then this would not be binding on you as you don't espouse those beliefs but would be binding on those that do profess those beliefs.the only thing we are born with is the right to choose You can choose to lead a homosexual life style or not , you can choose to be a Muslim or not. My point is your choice of wording was poor. Now if you said is why is not homosexuality accepted or tolerated then we can go into the many reasons why it is and isn't tolerated by a given group of people. If you ask if homosexuality is a valid choice I would support you fully it is as valid a choice as heterosexuality or celibacy.

Where am I leading? Well if you are a muslim or a catholic by choice for example then homosexuality is certainly "wrong" as you put it. If you . If you are not then it may be right. both points are valid it is a matter of choice and perspective. What is certainly not valid is imposing a belief on someone who does not believe either catholics on you or you on a catholic person for example. As for my self My beliefs teach me that it is wrong. for me. My beliefs also teach me that god gave you the right to choose and it is not in my power to judge that choice for you Furthermore I would not effect judgment either in action or deed against you for your choice.

God created man and woman. It states that in Genesis 2:24 "For this reason a man shall leave his mother and father and be joined to his wife and the two shall become one flesh" Nothing is said about a man leaving and being joined with a man or a woman with a woman.

1 Corinthians 6:9 states "Do you not know the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolators, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, .....will inherit the kingdom of God."

Also, biologically a womans vagina is naturally made to receive a mans penis. A mans anus is not.

Everybody has a right to believe in it or not believe it is right. As there are NO genitic or scientific facts to say it is real. So everybody has a right to believe in what they wish. Homosexuality, is at least in part caused by hormones produced by the mother while the child is in her womb. It is a fact, that male homosexuals react to sexual stimuli the same way as hetero-women, and vice-versa.
