These two 'theories' cannot even be considered in the same category. Besides, they deal with different issues entirely and are in no way competing theories that require an either/or designation.
Charles Darwin explains the mechanisms behind evolution. This applies not just to humans but to every living thing on the planet. There is a wealth of information to support Darwin's postulates and that information does not depend on some ancient astronauts using the earth as a Petri dish to be real.
Even if you want to believe in the von Daeniken idea, that does not preclude the concept of evolution in any way. They really are unrelated. There is no doubt in any real scientist's mind that evolution is a reality and we have even seen it in action.
Now that we have access to DNA and can do side by side comparisons with every living thing on this planet (eventually, once we get them all sequenced), and if we were the product of aliens we would not be as related as we are to EVERYTHING else...
Honestly, I really do not think that the von Daeniken 'theory,' if you can really call it a theory, can stand up to the mounds of evidence that say it is just not a realistic possibility.

Does it fairly count style? particular Evolution began off as an theory, yet has been proved many times by using technology. The beginning of guy continues to be an theory that Darwin created. that is going to likely be an arguement till the top of days. The Bible says one ingredient and no one can draw close that it may desire to be describing evolution. This earth become here for a great approximately of time earlier guy regarded on the scene. Animals have been here for a great quantity of time earlier guy regarded on the scene. technology has shown it previous a doubt. How the earth become a great ball of lava at one time. Then water, then mounds of earth popped up. So the Bible would possibly no longer long gone into diverse ingredient and did no longer say... an afternoon become equivalent to one thousand years, or something like that........... yet could no longer it have only been like that? Why does it consistently could desire to be suitable or incorrect...... wasn't all people ever taught to think of outdoors the container?

If your science education is reflected by your spelling then this is probably pointless in which case you can go back to persecuting heretics or burning witches.
There is only one theory of evolution. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't understand the definition of science or theory. The vast, overwhelming majority of working biologists have tested and accepted the theory of evolution by natural selection as the best explanation for all observations in biology. It was originally proposed by Darwin and is sometimes called Darwin's theory of evolution.
Any claims that there is controversy over evolution by natural selection is just like claiming there is controversy over Newtonian gravity because some people believe the Earth is flat. Some people can't let go of their belief in creation myths because of their egos.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. There is not a single iota of evidence of extraterrestrial visitors to the Earth. Believing such has no advantage over the accepted model of how life evolved. You might as well say we were created by magic.

Weigh the evidence. I have not heard of Von Daniken in a long time, so, thanks for the laugh. Charles Robert Darwin; hands down.

It all depends on how u perceive it. If u r scientific in thought u might believe that life evolved from single cells but if u r spiritual in nature u will believe what is written in Vedas and other holy books...

Trust me the human race has definitely not evolved. And most everyone I know is a little spaced out.

Neither is right.
The theory of evolution is all false. Watch the proof for yourself.

Neither has been proven as a fact. That is why they are called Theories. Scientists are still trying to discover what is really true.
