Godzilla is immortal while King Kong is not. As we have seen, Godzilla is virtually indestructible while King Kong can be killed by simple bullets from a gun. Godzilla also has weapons that King Kong does not have such as fire breath, and radio activity and is much larger and stronger than Kong.

Kong is strong, tough, and reslient, but based on fire breath alone Godzilla takes it nearly every time. About the only way Kong could win is to dodge the first salvo, then somehow pounce on Godzilla from behind and bodyslam him, then start throwing rapid body punches. But Godzilla's *armored* and just about an even match in strength, so sooner or later he's almost sure to knock Kong far enough away to finish incinerating him. A clever writer could make it happen, but it's hard to see any *good* way that Kong would ever win that face-off...

yes dude if watch the movie: Godzilla won! Godzilla wins all 3 rounds round 1 king kong retreats scared of Godzilla and his fire power Godzilla wins round 2 king kong dies rosted by Godzilla's fire power round 3 after falling in water king kong was seen swimming away because Godzilla who breaths the water duh was under water chasing after king kong Godzilla stayed under water swimming too chasing after king kong and king kong is what 25 feet? and Godzilla is what 4 to 500 feet? I can't believe that some dudes are actualy retarded to actual think that king kong would stand a chance against the king of all monsters himself Godzilla unlike we billions of fans who been knew old news that Godzilla won the movie years and years ago Godzilla was even the correct ansewar for a game show about the movie oh what again? oh and dinsoaurs ruled the earth 45 billion years long before the apes and in real life there is gorilla giants or small gorillas and dinosaurs would smash zoos and eat the apes and the t-rex was the unltiment beast do you math some more! true words from a true smart person and im with you Godzilla fans!

They would have to fight in zero gravity like space. Take up physics and study nature's laws. When Godzilla merges from the sea to stand completely upright he'd snap his spine in three different locations. A 25' tall Kong would have similar problems. The gravity would be too intense. Mighty Joe Young would work or a Godzilla the size of a T rex. Since Godzilla forms fire somewhat like eals can generate electricity he'd cook Kong.

No. Kong is not only very fast, but very tricky... You people don´t know s###. And one more thing: do you guys know that kong represents power from emotions and love. He is the KING of mamos. Godzilla is only a big tank with some fire power, while King Kong is pure rage, madness, monster grip power and capable of jumping very high. Godzilla simply is NOT crazy enough.

In the 1968 movie of the same title King Kong won. They had it so that he had some freaky lighting power that everytime it rained he's get struck by lighting and get stronger and be able to throw lighting bolts. at the end of the movie King Kong tackles Godzilla and they both roll down a hill and into the sea. King Kong surfaces and the cerdits roll with a man saying that Godzilla is probaly dead. I always thought that Godzilla got cheated, he is a radioactive dinosaur, who can breathe toxic green flames. King Kong is just a big gorilla.

Godzilla is incredibly tall. Even if Kong was the same size as Godzilla, he has nuclear breath, almost impenetrable skin, the ability to heal like wolverine, immense strength, and is smart enough to have emotions and even talk to other monsters.
Godzilla wins hands down. He's still the king of monsters

Honestly, i like kong more than godzilla but godzilla would win, hes like 400 ft tall and cant be taken down by a 30s plane

Toho officially announced Kong as the winner of the bout. It's one of a couple reasons why Kong's name appears first in the title. At the time the film was made, Kong was more famous and beloved in Japan than Godzilla was (this is the other reason his name comes first). Kong was always meant to be seen as the victor.
Fans have debated the winner for a very long time, but Kong is the official winner according to Toho.
