Depends on what kind of birth control you are talking about. The pill you will have to have an exam and pap smear and all. Now condoms I guess you could just get them.

No you don't just walk in and ask. First THEY ask you some questions to find out what type of birth control would be best for you, then you get an exam and the only "birth control" method I've known to be free at Planned Parenthood was condoms and spermacide. The pill and any other form they charge for although at a very low fee for those who have diffucluty paying. But nope you don't just walk in and say "I want" and walk out with hand fulls. Since you're asking THIS type of question I doubt very much if you're mature enough to be sexually active at all.

What are these people thinking,... or where are they from??

When I was younger, I went to "planned parenthood"!!
For birth control pills....
First, they ask questions about you INCOME or your parents income, second you have to answer questions about your familys health (i.e. mother, father, grandma's, and grandpa's,... like heart disease, liver disease....) and they will want to know your health back ground (i.e. have you ever been pregnant, if so how many times...) and third, they HAVE to to a pelvic exam to make sure that you 1. aren't pregnant... 2. don't have cervical cancer....
Some states have a law that they have to do a pregnancy test before they can give you birth control pills.

I think with condoms and spermicide, they just ask you questions about the same as above, about your health and familys,... and then they give them to you...

I really hope this helps!!!

yes they ask questions, but nothing too invasive.

no you can not just take them. They are given to you after you answer their basic questions

You do have to ask for them

And no, sometimes they give you a month supply or three months supply. It just depends on where you are.

Do you have the football team waiting on you? Are you in a hurry? Take your welfare to the doctor and the foreignor will give you a prescription, take that to the clinic and get your free pills. Don't worry about getting a job to pay for them, somebody else will. Princess Dumpster

you have to ask for it! and no they dont ask questions they already know what they need to know, and that is that you are getting them to use them. They are just happy you are protecting yourself.
