I'm not sure if they actually exist or not, but I lean towards believing that they do.
In regard to why we haven't found the body of a dead one: we didn't discover what happened to elephants bodies when they died until very recently. I'm sure that they, very much like elephants, bury their dead.

No. I don't believe there is any such animal. People have found fossils of insects, reptiles, and mammals that are a hundred million years old so I find it hard to believe that they wouldn't find something to verify this animal's existence. It's just another unverified legend of native peoples that was passed down through the years.
Look at it this way: Every other animal on the planet has a close relative and we can see how they fit in the evolution of the species. There is nothing to indicate that there is a branch of the tree that has a Sasquatch swinging from it.

There is a possibility that a Yeti or Bigfoot exists, as gorillas and apes were once believed to be a mythological creature

For the same reason they never recovered the body of a giant squid until just recently. It's a big world out there.

I definitely believe they exist. There have been too many encounters around the world with them for them to be fake. As far as dead bodies, they are elusive in life so why wouldn't they be elusive in death?

The come from a parallel universe...check it out. We sent monkeys into space be for man. Somewhere out there someone is sending their version of monkey across time and space. That is why the tracks always disappear all of a sudden...they get “zapped” back to their own realities!!!

Bigfoot doesn't really exist. Nor does the Loch Ness monster. Nor does werewolves. Nor does vampires.
