Have you ever met a celebrity face to face?

I had a friend whom met Ice Cube recently, and according to her, was the coolest guy ever! Well for being a celebrity. He took time to allow her to snap a few pictures and even video tape him on her phone, which was awesome! I've never met a celeb face to face, but have seen quite a few in my lifetime.

Soooooo...I would like to know if any of you have ever had an experiece, and are they really the down to earth people they sometimes say they are, and what else could you spill?

My father is the CEO of Loreal and ive met lots of celebritys. To me, the only ones who are worth meeting are the ones who have big hearts and care about their fans. I mean, I think that fame and fortune should only go to people who upright deserve it. Beyonce was definatly the nicest one Ive met. But Stev-o from Jack@ss was no doubt stuck up. Meeting him was a waste of time.=/

I met Britney Spears about 2 years ago. It was not a pleasant experience. She was only interested in talking to the guys that were with us and completely blew off all of the females.

I've also met Hanson who were incredibly down to earth and very cool. I was able to meet some of their other family members as well (mom, dad, sister Jessica, Taylor's wife and son Ezra, Zac's then fiance Kate, , and their brother Mackenzie). The whole family was very chill and talkative.

Other people I've met have been Rooney, Fefe Dobson, Maroon 5, Gavin DeGraw, Matt Nathanson, Michael Tolcher, Lifehouse, and several more that I can't recall right now.

Met Ric O'Casic from the music group The Cars years ago, while he and his group were in Toys R Us where I worked buying the SEGA Master system (if that gives away the year as it was the hot new system of the season). I was the person who had to fill his order for the system and just about every video game title on the shelf. He was pleasant and offered to give me an autograph which I still have.

Living in NY, yes I have met celebrities and they are really nice. Earlier this week I met Tenacious D, and Jack Black was really awesome. He was really down to earth and didn't act above anyone. Last year I was in the Central Park Zoo and I met Angelina Jolie. I basically was having a normal convo with her about the day. We talked about her baby, how adorable she is..and it was great. Celebrities are real people too.

I've met The Jonas Brothers just recently. In 11-11-06 at Valencia after their concert. They were nice I guess. My friend made a poster from pictures of them from magazines and stuff. Kevin said that it was a really nice poster. Then Kevin said Hi to me and signed my CD cover. Then Nick said Hi to me and asked me if I had fun. I didn't really see him start talking to his other fans, it was the other way around so I was happy. Joe just signed my CD cover, so that was a bit sad, but while he was performing he looked at me a bunch of times and smiled at me a couple of times, so it's sorta even now. So to answer your question, yes, I have met a celebrity face to face. Oh, I almost met Kay & Danielle Panabaker! They were like ten feet away from me. It was at a Jesse McCartney concert and they went and were signing stuff for fans and such. I could have met them, but I was too shy.

I met Ice cube at disneyland!!! He was a real asshole!!!! wouldnt even let ppl snap pic or anything. He must have been on his time of the month HAHAHAHA!!!! But in answer to your question I have. I met the guy from the show called hero. I think he plays a lawyer or something. His real name is adrian...I dont remember his last name but he came to my store 2 days ago. He was really friendly.

This past summer, June 9th to be exact my hubby and I went to a Dave Matthews Band concert (we're HUGE fans) and in the seat just in front of us there was a very friendly lady who shared the set list with us. We asked her how she obtained it, she explained her husband works for the band. At the end of the show she invited us back to the hotel to have drinks with her and snap some pictures with the band as they were getting off their buses...we said "heck yeah!". We met the band as they were getting off the bus, very nice and cordial stopping for photos and autographs (got my tickets autographed). When all was over she asked us if we wanted to go get drinks in the bar upstairs, we did and walked into a private band party with about 35 members of the road crew and the band themselves. We spoke with all of them (Dave even sat at our little table for a while and chatted with us-very cool guy) and drank and had a great time. It was the most incredible moment.

I actually dated a celebrity and when I first met him, I didn't know he was a celebrity. He was a NBA player. He was really cool and a sweetheart.
I also grew up with another NBA player. My brother used to play baseball with him back in the day in little league, but that doesn't count because he wasn't famous then.
But yea, I've run across a few famous people in the clubs and have had conversations with them, but I acutally dated someone famous before. That was my boo.
