The longest for me was 6 years when I tried to leave an abusive relationship and wound up in the hospital one too many times.
You're lucky if you can last less.

The longest I ever held a grudge was for over most of my childhood, and that was against my mom. It wasn't just one grudge, but a lot of them, and most of them weren't even valid...but we are in a much, much better place now, and she is absolutely one of my best friends. As far as any other grudge, I'd say the longest held was a month. Generally I don't stay that heated past the end of the day. It has to be something HUGE to get me to hold on to it.

It depends on why I am holding a grudge, but there is one that I've had for about 5 yrs.

I knew a guy who held an almost 10 year grudge with his mother of all people. Needless to say he was/is/turned out to be a pretty shitty person in general.

How long you got? If the people don't mean a hill of beans to me then i don't really even have one, but if its someone important who has done it then, well my sister f*cked a dying man over and its been 9 years since i have talked or seen her, so ill let you know when i talk to her again
