The answer is very very complicated so I'll be as brief as possible. in world war one germany was kicking everyones *** in europe. and was about to win the war against france, england etc.

Some of the jewish officers in the german army went on secret missions to england and france and the united states and told them that they would lose on purpose if the british would agree to hand over palestine to the jews so that they would form their nation israel.

To germans this was a huge betrayal on behalf of the jews living in that time who were up until that point treated very nicely by the germans.

The jews basically threw the war away and let britain and france win and persuaded the united states to join on their side.

this betrayal caused a fury of resentment against all jews which was part of the zionist plan anyway. thats just a basic laymans response but theres lots of information about jewish schemes throughout history.

a great reosurce would be

first the m is an idiot. Germany and all of Europe was anti semetic. Hitler blamed the Jews for the loss of WW I, so he coupled his prejudice with the prejudice the German people already had, made them a scape goat, envied their wealth and since he felt they were an inferior "race" that he was justified in exterminating them. Actually first he just made it unpleasant and then dangerous to be Jewish in Germany. The actual extermination didn't begin until Germany realized there wer no other countries or places in the world the Jews could be transported to-especially once the war started in 1939.

It was a policy of the govt at the time which was led by Adolph Hitler based a book called mein kampft which he wrote(unsure on spelling & not looking it up)...

Basically their leader Hitler was a strong public speaker and convinced the country through various means that they(Jews) were the cause of all of the German problems and that the Germans were superior to them and most people...

All in fact untrue(like some of the other answers), and based on fear mongering and hate...he even took one of the holiest symbols in the world & of several religions(the swastika) and turned it into the most loathed and feared symbol in the world...

...that's pretty much why he wanted them out of Germany (as a scape goat) then Europe to begin with...Hitler also wanted other races out of Europe...he hated the Slavic races also, as well as all blacks & homosexuals & any people with illnesses, whom he all considered to be inferior humans & especially inferior to Germans...also not all Europe was anti-Semetic.

Historians say that this would have been his next target in terms of ethnic groups or people to remove from Europe.

* hope this helps

This is found online under www.history.com and there is an enormous selection of sites and reading. Just type in WW11 holocaust in the search box when you get there. It will even take you to the memorial sites as well.
The answer you are looking for dates back probably to when Cain killed Abel, jealousy, greed, etc., Insanity, or down right evil verses good. Take your pick, but nothing really explains it away, no matter what genecide is wrong, aggression is wrong, slaughtering innocent helpless people is wrong. Killing on any level is wrong or it would not leave such an impact on people who have been so unfortunate as to have had to take another human beings life. Like in Iraq, for the most part no soldier is thrilled he had to kill someone in war it becomes a blindfold and survival takes over any time you take two people and arm them like in a gladiator arena for example one man stands and one man dies. It is so horrifying to think that Hitler organized a way to take a mass amount of people and not even give them a stick to defend themselves and just gased them and mounded their bodies up like garbage? That is the most inhumane thing in our world's history and nothing will top that ever not even a total nuclear war because at least we have weapons. The Irony and the most ridiculous thing about Hitler was he loved his best friend during WW1 and the beginning of WW11 and he was a Jewish man that saved Hitler's life when they both were soldiers in WW1 and this man that Hitler loved supported Hitler financially to produce his Paintings (the thing he called art ) and he repaid this friendship by killing him.

Because they believed that Jews are greedy and selfish and cause a lot of problems. The original plan was to relocate them to Madagascar or other areas, not to kill them all. That didn't work so they resorted to the "Final Solution" and murdered a lot of them. Many Jewish people will have you believe that they were the ONLY victims of the Holocaust. That of course is not at all true. Of the 10 to 11 million people massacred, only half of them were Jewish. The other half was composed of various other minorities.

I remember my history teacher in high school saying that Hitler's mom was very sick with a disease and there was a Jewish doctor who was treating her but was unsuccesful. She later died; Hitler did place a lot of the blame on the doctor. In addition, while growing up, Hitler had wanted to become an artist. He was working under a Jewish teacher, but was always criticized against and the teacher would always say that he would amount to nothing. These examples could probably tie to Hitler's early racism against Jewish people...but that's all I could tell ya.
