what is a tire cope ?

the tire of the car is making some kind of noise and they say that is a cope ,I will like to know what is that and if it's safe to drive a car with it .

Are you talking about cupping? I've done my time as well and I've never head of cope either.

never heard of it and I worked in parts and service for 17 years
