Yes, and it haunts me everytime I drive down 3rd. Avenue. One day as I was going down the street , and on the left side, a man was walking down the street twords the river. I couldn't help but stare as he was so pale and wore such ragged clothes. his face was so sad and he looked as if he was starving to death. I decided right then and there , that I was gonna stop and give him some money. All I did was turn around , not taking my eyes off of him and when I came back to the spot that I saw him, he had instantly disappeared . I looked up and down the street and there were no buildings he could have gone into, as it was sidewalk for long way. I know he didn't go down into the River walks because he had not crossed the street yet. He just vanished. I wondered if it could have been an Angel testing my generousity ??
I think of this man everytime I drive that way. Never saw him again.

Quite a few, actually. The most vivid were when I was a kid. My grandfather died and on the day of his funeral, my whole family heard footsteps going down the hall to the kitchen where my Mom was (it was her father who died). They stopped right at the kitchen door and there was no one there.
Another was a year later. We lived in a duplex - a single older man lived in the upstairs floor of the house, we had the downstairs. Well, he was an alcoholic with health problems. One day he died and wasn't discovered for a few days. Right around the time he died, I remember hearing a noise on the stairs and looking up and seeing his shadow along the wall of the stairwell, expecting to see him come into view as he came down the stairs but the noise and the shadow stopped. Only later did I learn that he was already dead and since the stairs were inside the house, it couldn't have been anyone else as my whole family was downstairs at the time.

Once, I was trying to go to sleep, but couldn't because i heard scratching noises in the wall. After about 10 minutes of scratching noises, the alarm clock on my nightstand began banging the table. I tried to recreate it by pulling on the cord, but it only would fall off the back of the nightstand. Even if something like a mouse pulled on the cord, it wouldn't have been strong enough to cause the alarm clock to bang as hard as it did. There were no animals in the house. Pretty scary, but i still sleep there and nothing has happened since.

a place in Michigan I was not familar with. My boyfriend drove me down a road and ask if I seen that house down the road a bit. I said yes the brick one with the bell tower (like an old school house but bigger) he said yep that one and than drove by the empty lot where the house was just at. He had grown up by the house and everyone can descibe it from a distance.
20 years later the flowers still come up around where the house was and no weeds just the flowers that the old lady cared for all her life until she died in the house and the house had been torn down after her death

We came home about 6 months ago...my husband, and my 3 sons (13, 5 and 2)~ I thought my oldest son had gone up to our apartment first because as I started up the to the second floor landing..I saw a dark figure of a tall person DART up to the 3rd floor.(no one lived up there at the time!) and as I went up to see why Nick had run up there..he came up BEHIND me carrying his youngest brother who is 2 yrs old! My 5 yr old followed him along with my husband...
I insisted that someone darted up the stairs and I was afraid of a homeless person or a drug addict hanging out in the empty apartment upstairs...My husband and Nick both went upstairs...the door to the apartment was locked and there was NO one in the hall way..they would have had to run past us all to get out of the building.
Just recently...like 2 days ago..I went upstairs to talk to our neighbor..(someone lives up there now..) and when I started coming back down the stairs...I heard the sound of boots walking RIGHT behind me...I felt someone touch my arm and when I turned around..expecting to find one of her children...there was NO one there...but the dark shadow darted back up the stairs...
